Bayshore and the Sunset Islands
Includes the area from the south end of the 41st Street right of way to Collins Canal, and from Biscayne bay to the Indian Creek Waterway. The area includes the Sunset Islands and the Sunset Harbor aera.icnludes several diverse sub-neighborhoods.

Biscayne Point
Residential island separated from the main barrier island by the Tatum Waterway and Indian Creek. Area includes an residential apartment area called Biscayne Beach that is between Tatum Waterway and Hawthorne Avenue and two single-family residential neighborhoods called Biscayne Point and Stillwater Drive.

City Center
Bounded on the north and west by Dade Boulevard, on the east by Lincoln Lane, and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean. A diverse neighborhood with single family homes, apartments and condos, commercial buildings, and retail stores. Includes the Miami Beach Convention Center, the Jackie Gleason Theater, City Hall, the Botanical Gardens, and the Lincoln Road pedestrian mall.

Collins Park

In the heart of the South Beach district, including the National Register Architectural District. The arae west of Washington Avenue is low rise apartments and consos and a small area just east of Flamingo Park with single family homes. East of Washington Avenue and around Lummus park is the commercial and mixed use entertainment section of the National Register Architectural District. This is the most popular visitor area in Miami Beach. Flamingo Park and Lummus Park are also in this area.

La Gorce
This neighborhood includes La Gorce Island, Allison Island, and the area from Surprise Lake, north to La Gorce Island and from Biscayne Bay east to the Indian Creek Waterway. It is mostly a residential area with single family homes but there is a small commercial building at 51st Street and Cherokee Avenue. The area includes La Gorce Island and Allison Island.

Area from Surprise Lake to the south end of the 41st Street right of way, to Biscayne Bay on the east to the Indian Creek Waterway, including the Orchard Park area. The area is mostly single family homes with a few apartment and condomimium areas. Includes the Mount Sinai Medical Center, the Miami Heart Institute, Nautilus Middle School, and North Beach Elementary School. Arthur Godfrey Road (41st Street) is a state roadway and a commercial corridor.

Normandy Isle
The area re about 4200 single family homes in the middle of this island and two large apartment and condominium areas on the east and west sides of the islands. There is a small commercial area around the Normandy Foundain on the east end of the island. Traffic on the main streets through the island are one way - on 71st street and Normandy Drive.

Normandy Shores
A residential island with about 300 homes and more then 40 apartment buildings. The homes are surrounded by the Normandy Shores Golf Course and Fairway Park. The island is accessed by crossing the adjacent island, Normandy Isle on 71st Street.

North Beach
Area from 63rd Street to the northern city limit of Miami Beach at 87th Terrace.

North Shore
Bounded by 87th Terrace on the North, 63rd street on the south, the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Tatum Waterways on the west. A densely apartment and condominium area. Commercial districts are on Collins Avenue and 71st sStreet.
- Orchard Park Neighborhood Association

This neighborhood includes the area bounded by 23rd Street in the south, 63rd Street in the north, the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Indian Creek Waterway on the west. This area is is mostly high density multi-family apartments, condominiums, and hotels with commercial businesses on the ground level.

South Point

Star, Palm, and Hibiscus Islands
Islands are accessed via the Mac Arthur Causeway with one road going to Palm and Hibiscus Islands and another going to Star Island.

Venetian Islands
Includes Belle Island, Di Lido Island, Rivo Alto Island, and San Marino Island.

West Avenue
Bounded by 5th street in the south, Alton Road in the east, Biscayne Bay on the west, and Lincoln Roadon on the north. High density apartments and condominiums along Biscayne Bay and single family homes and smaller apartmentsand condos in other areas.
