Aventura Shopping Centers
The city of Aventura in the northeast corner of Miami-Dade County has a huge shopping center called the Aventura Mall and an older shopping center featuring big box stores such as Wal-Mart and Office Depot.

Coconut Grove Shopping Centers
The charming downtown area of Miami's Coconut Grove district has many fine specialty shops. Bayside Marketplace
This indoor/outdoor shopping mall in downtown Miami is located on the shores of Biscayne Bay, next to Bayfront Park and across the street from the American Airlines Arena. The mall has more then 100 shops and restaurants. Many of the Biscayane Bay boat tours depart from the marina adjacent to the mall and there is a large Hard Rock Cafe next to the mall. Bal Harbour Shops
The outdoor shopping center is located in the Miami suburb of Bal Harbour and it is one of Florida's most upscale shopping destinations. The mall first opened in 1966, its anchor stores are Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. and it has more then 500,000 square feet of retail space. The dollar amount of sales per square foot of retail space at Bal Harbour Shops the highest in the United States, partly because of large number of exclusive shops represented at the mall. Lincoln Road Shopping District
One of Miami's most popular shopping areas, especially among visitors to South Beach, is the portion of Lincoln Road between Bay Road in the west and Collins Avenue in the east. Lincoln road is located one block south of the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Jackie Gleason Theater of Performing Arts.

South Miami Shopping

Dadeland Mall
This large indoor shopping mall in the Kendall area of Miami has more then 200 shops and restaurants. Its anchor stores are Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom's, Macy's, and JC Penney. The Dadeland Mall first opened in 1962 as a small outdoor shopping center but it has been expanded and remodeled over the years. It is now a much larger 1.4 million square foot enclosed mall. The Falls
This outdoor shopping mall is located southwest of Miami in an unincorporated area of Miami-Dade County. It has more then 100 shops and restaurants and it also has a 12 screen United Artists theater complex. The Falls first opened in 1980 and its two anchor stores, Bloomingdale's and Macy's opened in 1984 and 1996 respectively. Macy's was added during a major expansion that double the size of the mall.
